Tom & wife Temple reside in Kill Devil Hills. They have been married 44 years and have 2 adult sons and 2 grandchildren.  Tom retired from East Carolina Bank in 2010 after 24 years where he served as Senior Vice-President & Chief Risk Officer.  Tom serves as a Guardian Ad Litem for Dare County and volunteers for the Albemarle Food Bank, the Mobile Food Pantry, Outer Banks Hotline, and is very active in his church

Tom serves as NCBBA Treasurer.
